divorced 1st husband (Lockwood-Tatham?) - I have found a record of a Mabel A. Fox marrying a William Lockwood in Goole in June 1913 - could this be them ? Mum said that he insisted she marry him before he went off to war, but it didn't work out when he got back.

Candy has book (The Girls Own Annual) inscribed:
Mabel Fox Xmas 1908 from mother + Daddy
was engaged to Frank Clement - one of the Bentley boys. 1st woman to drive 1st 3 litre Bentley around Brooklands with W.O.Bentley in it. She wrote about it in the Autocar. (Dad had the photos but they were stolen from his car)
JRAPC-D said that whilst in hospital after the birth of one baby, it was accidentally killed by a nurse putting a pile of washing on top of it...
