I'm linking Alfred Edmund, son of TKG with Alfred, recorded in the 1861 census, by virtue of their both being born in 1813 in Shoreditch, and the fact that the Southwark Gosnell's seem to preserve the family name of Knowles, which mut have been inherited from KG and TKG, grandfather and father respectively of AEG.

I'm linking Alfred from the 1851 census to the above, because, although his birthplace is not given as shoreditch (itis ditto-ed with the rest of his family), and his wife's age is not consistent (not an unusual event), his age, profession, wife's name, child's name and child's age do agree - furthermore, he is the only Alfred Gosnell living in the area.
